Physicians balance support for George Floyd protests with public health risks

While many doctors say they support the George Floyd protests, some worry they may lead to a surge in COVID-19 cases. The combination of large crowds, the use of tear gas and the imprisonment of protestors all pose risk for increased spread of the virus. And for many black doctors and healthcare workers, the protests also signify a much deeper issue. (The New York Times)
