Industry lobbyists voice concerns about ‘Medicare for All’

Top executives for America’s Health Insurance Plans and the Federation of American Hospitals reiterated their criticisms of “Medicare for All” proposals at an industry conference this week. Their statements at the Nashville Health Care Council came as House Democrats were unveiling the Medicare for All Act of 2019, a bill with broad Democratic support that would replace private payers with the federal health insurance program for seniors.
